Happy New Lunar Year

Yearoftherat
Today everybody here in Malaysia is celebrating the Chinese New Year...the city is full with beautiful decorations, people are buying special food and are in a very good mood...and tonight they say I will see fireworks like I have never seen before...2008 will be the year of the rat and this what I found on the internet about rats: 'Rats are said to be imaginative, charming and very generous to those they love - although they do have a tendency to be quick-tempered and over-critical. They are supposed to make good writers, critics and publicists.'...and that's me, I'm a rat! Here you can find a calender to see what you are.

Hi Irene. I enjoy your blog a lot. I'm a rat too! I'm looking forward to a great year of many more wonderful creations with my family.

Happy New Year! Enjoy the festivities! I'm so jealous of you right now... BTW, I'm headed to Thailand in the spring. Would love to hear any tips/ideas you have.

Anne

thanks for the link to the calendar - very useful!

Happy New Year! I'm a rat also.

Well, the description suits, but I'd never call you a rat! Anyway, it's your year and I'm giving you my You Make My Day Award! You probably have heaps of these already, but the award comes heartfelt from me!
xx

I love Chinese new year; I was lucky enough to live in China as a child and a teenager so Chinese new year means a lot to me. I once spent it on a train in rural China, and the people on the train invited us to join them for snacks, tea and singing. It's such a happy memory.

Happy New Year to you too!!! And may this year bring more happiness, love, and good fortunes! It's your year - live it up!

Happy Lunar New Year to you...I am a rat as well!

happy new year!

just found your wonderful blog today. i had no idea there's such a cool design blog from someone based in KL.

I was looking at mall decorations for the Chinese New Year the other day. They were beautiful. Flowery and bright.

I was born in the year of the Cock - something that for some strange reason my 15 year-old son thinks is very funny.
