Under the Sugar

Love these images and screenprinted cards from Aya. Aya is a photographer who says in her own words "likes to take photographs because it sensitizes her to the moments that make living worthwhile. The lens helps her acknowledge and appreciate what she fails to notice on her own—that wonderful things are always in sight."

Currently Aya lives in Portland, Maine, where she does all of her work in a tiny studio she's set up inside her apartment. (you can find some images on her about page) Before Aya moved to Portland, she lived in Seoul for two years, and a lot of her art is influenced by that time.
