Helen Beard
Almost weekend...to give you an impression of what I will be doing tomorrow together with Rik and my son...yes, a nice dive into the swimming pool, I know for most of you your world is currently surrounded by snow, ice and coldness, but here the temperature will just not drop below 27 degrees...enough about the weather...don't you agree that these ceramic cups and bowls are gorgeous. I found them via Di's lovely blog, Designers'BlockUK and Helen Beard is the ceramic artist who made them. This very talented 29 year old was born in Sheffield and Helen did an apprenticeship with the famous studio potter, Edmund de Waal. I'm we will be seeing much more of Helen Beard in the near future! Wish you all a wonderful weekend! I'm now going to Bloesem's little baby to do a bit more posting...hope to see you soon sometime next week!

Grrrrr.....

These are fabulous! They remind me of the little spot on Sesame Street where the little guy painted on the cup did stuff around the kitchen...I can hear the tune of the song in my head but I can't remember his name...
