In search for new lightning for our apartment I came across this extremely beautiful collection by Niche Modern. Husband-and-wife duo Jeremy Pyles and Mary Welch from New York are the founders of Niche Modern.
In the Elle Decoration UK I read an article about the couple and how their lightning business started about three years ago when Mary was opening a design store in the East Village and wanted Jeremy to design the shop lightning. Customers noticed the beautiful designs and then the couple knew that this was their real calling. Design*Sponge did a nice podcast with Niche Modern in 2006 which you can find here.
