Normally I don’t write about jewelry very often, but since I’m here in KL and saw some unbelievably big shopping malls, I’m inspired by fashion and especially all kinds of accessories. Two very inspiring young Dutch designers have been on my mind for a while now to show you, so what better day than today…
Yvonne Bovee is a designer of handmade jewelry. She graduated from the Design Academy in Einhoven only a few years ago. Yvonne makes some unique pieces. I always find it difficult to find decorative jewelry, but I would definitely take my chances with this folklore and button brooches! Very nice! I once saw some similar type of jewelry at a local boutique where the designer actually worked with button brokers from all over the world. That just blew my mind. Button broker, that would be a real treasure-seeking fun job!
