I couldn’t finish this week without showing some ceramic pieces. This time I chose the beautiful work by Jeanette Zeis and Michelle Swafford. Both women offer their collections on Etsy… and are clearly passionate about clay… as Jeanette put it “I love making pots. Period.”… I especially like the warm colors and shapes of her designs, her website shows here entire collection.
Michelle’s work is characterized by its Asian flair and simplicity, very delicate and soft designs… check out her website for upcoming classes and events!

i am an avid reader of your gorgeous blog and so thought of you straight away when i started looking for information about changing careers. i have been working in business for the last 4 years. i have returned to uni this year studying textile design. i would like to move into the design industry but am unsure about how to do this. do you have any tips on how to promote my current skills and new training to possible employees?
