Mokkatanten

Maybe you have seen the very interesting work from Mokkatanten before here on Bloesem, but these are their  newest designs. Lace Balls, which are handmade balls from old laces. They are formed out of two half’s (mostly different) and than sewed together by hand. The balls represent flowers, jellyfishes, snow flakes...... With a spot of light the balls can make beautiful shadows in the interior. Lovely, lovely, very lovely!

The 1GB Porcelain Memory is handmade in Germany. Each piece is unique due to the nature of the porcelain. The product philosophy is always the same at Mokkatanten: long lasting and with a soul! Mokkatanten is an union between Potsdam resident, crockery and product designer Cora Gebauer and Amsterdam based textile designer Insa Doan. Check out their website for more information!
