Via a comment on Sia’s blog I found Emma Laiho. Her graphic work, illustrations and mixed media paintings are very beautiful and fun to look at. Emma lives in Helsinki and is a student at the University of Art and Design. In her work she emphasizes color, surface and humor.
Emma aims to make simple designs that are both warm and sympathetic. I particularly like ‘In the Kitchen’ and ‘You and Me’. For more information about how to purchase her work you can send Emma an email.

Yay for Emma! She's a very talented lady. I don't know if she still wants to study postgraduate at the KABK, but last year, it was on her wish list... so hopefully she will come back to NL sooner or later!
