These Flocks

Flocks

Flocks1

Marije Geursen reminded me of These Flocks. Extremely wonderful knitting designs by Christien Meindertsma from Rotterdam. Together with a knitter, a graphic designer, spinners, farmers and felters from all over the world Christien makes the products for These Flocks, a knitwear brand in the broadest sense of the word. On her search to find new and interesting ways to experiment with wool, Christien discovered Kyrgyzstan. There she developed this gorgeous pouf. The cardigans come from one sheep. The size and length of the cardigan depends on how much wool a sheep carries. You can order the great products online at Christien’s website.

Irene, you find such wonderful inspirational artists...thank you for great finds everyday!

Just wanted to write a quick little note to say thanks for doing such a great job at keeping us well informed in the ways of design! All of these women (or men), including yourself, are just amazing and such inspirations to me! So thank you!
